Itchy and agitated?

Okay, so I am starting to get very itchy and agitated and sweating heavily at night. I have been eating that Activia yogurt recently, so I wonder, could this be putting too much bacteria in my system, causing the itching and other symptoms? My entire body was itching last night, and after putting lotion and hydrocortizone all over, it didn’t go away. That and the extreme agitation and sweating tells me it must be internal.

Now, I also have a bad case of acid reflux. Could this be related? Could it have anything to do with something else, like dropping blood sugar? That can cause night sweats. But itchiness? Is it maybe b/c I reacted badly to white bread, which I normally don’t eat? I don’t know.

This is just weird. Any ideas? Everything has been washed in fragrance-free detergent and dusted and vaccuumed.

I had similar problems. In my case it was caused by unknown food allergies, a deficiency of magnesium and other vitamins/minerals, and celiac disease.

What I did:

- Vitamin B complex supplement (has 50mg of each one)
- Mineral supplement with magnesium
- Started taking acidophilus to get rid of intestinal candidiasis
(Overgrowth of the “bad” bacteria)
- Dropped all wheat, dairy, and sugar from my diet

Now if you do have candidiasis, some of these symptoms can be caused by the excess candida dying off. That’s a good thing, but the symptoms can be bothersome until the job is finished.
